John brings a wealth of experience in the not-for-profit housing sector. He has been CEO of Circle Voluntary Housing Association since 2017, and has previously worked with housing associations in both Ireland and the UK (Respond, Accord and Prime Focus). John is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing, Fellow of the Association of Certified Accountants and member of the Institute of Directors. John is also a member of the Governing Board of Chartered Institute of Housing (UK) and a Member of the CIH Northern Ireland board.
The role of Chair of the Housing Alliance rotates between its six members. John takes over as Chair from Sean O’Connor, CEO of Tuath Housing Association, who has led the Housing Alliance over the past year, with John in the Vice Chair role.
