CHI announces the delivery of a record-number of 592 homes in 2021 at the launch of Baunacloka Heights, Limerick.

“Despite Covid-19 and the innumerable challenges, Co-operative Housing Ireland delivered 592 new homes in 2021, a record number for the organisation and a 23 per cent increase on the previous year.” Vice-Chairperson of CHI Enda Egan told the crowd at the launch of Baunacloka Heights, Mungret Gate, Mungret, Limerick.

Baunacloka Heights, a development of 72 homes, was launched by Mayor of the City and County of Limerick, Daniel Butler, and the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, Darragh O’Brien TD on Monday 28^th March.

Limerick. Speaking about life in her new home, Sandra said, “Life in my new home is great. I’ve so much more space than where we lived before. There are loads of friends for our children to play with and everything, the kids are out playing all the time. We don’t have many problems in the estate, and there’s great community spirit overall.”
